There's a new mayor in town, in case you haven't heard. Mr. Brian Johnson was sworn in on August 11th as Cohutta's fourth mayor. Mr. Johnson plans to examine every facet of operations in town and wants to meet with as many residents as possible over the next few months. He is currently assisting with the completion of the 2025 audit and will immediately assume management of day to day operations. During his tenure, he will promote transparency and fiscal responsibility. Visit our "Mayor's Page" in the coming days for more information. He said his door is always open, so stop by and say, "Hello!"

Let's all give a big Cohutta welcome to Brian Johnson!
