SPONSOR AMERICA 250

As we begin 2026, Cohutta is preparing to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States with a year-long series of community events. We are writing to invite you to be a cornerstone sponsor for the Cohutta Celebrates America 250 Series. Your sponsorship will not just support one day, but four major community milestones that celebrate our heritage from winter through autumn: 1. The Liberty Tree Dedication (Winter): A formal ceremony on February 28th to plant a living legacy for future generations of Cohutta residents, marking our town’s place in the American story. 2. The Cohutta Town Fair (Spring): Our flagship event on May 2nd featuring a parade, concerts, Pioneer Games, local artisans, crowning a Miss Cohutta, and old-fashioned family fun in the heart of town. 3. Independence Day Celebration (Summer): A classic patriotic gathering on July 4th to celebrate our nation’s birth with neighbors, music, and community spirit. 4. Stars, Stripes, and Harvest Night (Autumn): A unique fall finale on October 31st combining local harvest traditions with patriotic pride for a safe and festive family night. We are writing to invite you to join us as an official sponsor for these landmark events. As you know, Cohutta is a town built on heritage and neighborly spirit. These celebrations aren’t just about looking back at 1776; they are about celebrating the strength of our local community today. Why Sponsor the America 250 Celebration? By partnering with the Town of Cohutta, you will receive significant visibility among Cohutta residents and visitors from across Whitfield County and neighboring towns. More importantly, your contribution stays right here at home, helping us provide: Traditional prizes for local children (ribbons, wooden nickels, and local treats). Equipment for historic games at the fair like the Sack Races, Tug-of-War, and a dunking booth. A safe, festive environment for our families to celebrate our national history. Fireworks for the Independence Day celebration. Music and headliner bands for the spring, summer, and fall events. Prize money for contest winners for the spring and autumn events. We would be honored to have your support in making the America 250 celebration a defining moment for our town. I will follow up with you in the coming weeks to discuss how we can best highlight your business during the festivities. Thank you for your time and for everything you do for Cohutta. Sincerely, The Cohutta Celebrates America 250 Committee
